Central Illinois Irish Dance offers classes for all ages 3 and up. No dance experience is needed.  
Students start in soft shoes and learn the basics of Irish dance. On continuation of classes, dancers learn more soft shoe steps as
well as hard shoe steps. Ceili dances  (party dances similar to square dances) are also taught as well as the basics of Sean Nos dancing.

What do I wear to class?

Most dancers wear shorts and t-shirts or tank tops to practice in. Anything flexible that one can move in is acceptable.
Jeans or long pants that hide ones feet are not encouraged.
