My Autobiography

I have been Irish dancing since 1998. For six of those years, I competed in numerous feisanna (Irish dance competitions) moving up the competition ladder with

many medals and trophies to reach the Preliminary Championship level. I have competed in the Midwest Championships, performed in many venues

from St. Louis to Chicago and beyond. I have the opportunity to dance with the Chieftains, Eileen Ivers, and Wolfstone. We has entertained audiences with

pre-show performances for world renowned groups like Trinity Dancers and Celtic Woman. I have a great love for Irish dancing as well as for teaching others

to love Irish dance. I have experience teaching dance in group lessons, private lessons, and workshops.

Central Illinois Irish Dance was founded in 2007 to promote the love of Irish dance and classes and performances have been held since.

Lori is currently studying to pass the Irish Dance Commission’s TCRG exam which certifies teachers of Irish dance.
